PTO

Welcome to Tartesso PTO! For those of you who are new to our school, we warmly welcome you to our “big family.” Please join us at our quarterly meetings to raise your concerns or contribute your ideas and talents to better our school and community. We will meet on August 9, October 11, January 10, and April 10 at 3:15 p.m. in the library. Children are welcome to sit in the meeting with a quiet activity.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Tartesso PTO desires to enhance the school experience of our students, staff, and parents by coordinating entertaining extracurricular activities for the whole family as well as providing the much needed support to our teachers and staff by means of volunteer help and financial assistance to improve the overall quality of our school.

A FEW THINGS

There are a few things we would like you to know about us. The PTO helps to oversee the needs and development of the school while coordinating volunteer opportunities in classrooms for school programs and special events. We also help raise funds to provide family events, teacher appreciation, school equipment/supplies, and a lot more. As we work together, we build lasting relationships with parents, teachers, and administrators to better our school and community. More importantly, our children directly benefit from our commitment of actively participating in their education.

SIMPLE FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

We specifically collect Box Tops in each of the classrooms. So clip them from your Box Tops products, and turn them in to your child's classroom for our school contests. Buy Box Tops products. Scan your receipt. Earn cash for schools.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Please remember, each time you are visiting or volunteering at the school, we require you to check-in at the office; it is very important for the school to know who is on campus for the safety of all of our children and staff. Additionally, you must have fingerprint clearance through the school district to volunteer per Arizona state law.
