Ava Roum, 5th grader at Desert Sunset, earned 3rd place in the state science fair competition in the 5th-8th grade age group. You read that right, as a 5th grader, Ava earned 3rd place going up against much older students. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!

Yesterday, over 60 staff members attended @KaganOnline Day 2 training. We had a great day expanding our toolboxes while enhancing our skills to actively engage our students. #KaganAmbassador #WeAreSaddleMountain

Congratulations to our Odyssey of the Mind team for placing 2nd place at their State Competition. The team spent a few days in Tucson exploring the Rattlesnake Bridge, sculptures made by other students, and having a bit of team fun!
